During summer, Twofold Bay boasts consistent breezes that align perfectly with the needs of the Finn class. The mornings often feature lighter winds while the prevailing north-easterly sea breeze, typically ranging from 10 to 20 knots in the afternoons, provide challenging yet manageable conditions for competitive sailing.

Quarantine Beach
Nestled within the serene and picturesque waters of Twofold Bay, Quarantine Beach is a hidden gem. This tranquil cove is renowned for its natural beauty, featuring a sheltered sandy shoreline framed by rugged bushland and the calm, clear waters of the bay.
The beach’s calm waters make it a safe and inviting location, while its proximity to local walking trails and scenic viewpoints ensures there’s plenty to explore. Quarantine Beach offers a perfect slice of coastal paradise.
Accommodation
Enjoy the ultimate convenience with two charming accommodation options near Twofold Bay Yacht Club.
The Quarantine Bay Cottages, located right next to the club, offer stunning bay views, direct and easy access to the launching area, and a relaxing seaside atmosphere—perfect for sailors.
Ingenia Holiday Park is another great option, situated a bit further away but still within a short drive from the club.
Eden also offers many other excellent accommodation options for those wanting to be closer to town.

Launching
Quarantine Beach features a hard sand shoreline, providing an ideal surface for easy boat launching. Boats need only to be moved a short distance to the water and can be conveniently stored overnight on the grassed area just behind the beach.
The beach is sheltered by a breakwater, ensuring calm conditions for launching and recovery.
The racecourse area is just a short sail away, offering quick and convenient access for competitors.
