Twofold Bay

Twofold Bay is a premier destination for Finn sailors, offering ideal conditions for racing during the summer months. Known for its breath-taking scenery and consistent sailing conditions, this expansive natural harbour is perfectly suited to Finn's.

During summer, Twofold Bay boasts consistent breezes that align perfectly with the needs of the Finn class. The mornings often feature lighter winds while the prevailing north-easterly sea breeze, typically ranging from 10 to 20 knots in the afternoons, provide challenging yet manageable conditions for competitive sailing.

Ingenia Holiday Park is another great option, situated a bit further away but still within a short drive from the club.

Launching

Quarantine Beach features a hard sand shoreline, providing an ideal surface for easy boat launching. Boats need only to be moved a short distance to the water and can be conveniently stored overnight on the grassed area just behind the beach.

The beach is sheltered by a breakwater, ensuring calm conditions for launching and recovery.

The racecourse area is just a short sail away, offering quick and convenient access for competitors.

Regatta Dinner

During the annual regatta, the club hosts a dinner in their spacious clubhouse. The venue provides plenty of seating, along with a beer garden behind the clubhouse.
